NORWAY & BANGLADESH 50 YEARS

Reigning in a colorful semicentennial.

Norway and Bangladesh have had a diplomatic relationship since 1972, and with their 50th anniversary approaching, I was asked to create the logo to commemorate the occasion.

The two countries hardly share any visual elements in their flags and symbols, but they do both fly the color red. With that in mind, a stylized version of the number 50 with their respective colors (and Norway’s Scandinavian cross stripe) was created along with a simple text treatment, and options for usage across different platforms.
