After having taken many walks around Oslo, I began to notice the classic letterforms adorning many of the street signs in town. This inspired a custom display font that brings that same classic to the digital age. Multiple glyphs, symbols, and ligatures were created as well, to enhance the font’s usability.
As for the name, it’s a rather fitting portmanteau of “sans serif” and “Sankt Hallvard” (the patron saint of Oslo).
