FJELLA FISH SOUP

Designing a label and brand identity for a fictitious Norwegian soup brand.

2017 | Packaging, Identity, STUDENT WORK

The name “Fjella” was inspired by the Norwegian word “fjell”, meaning “mountain”. The idea was to create a brand that showed heritage and culture, while still being presented in a contemporary way. The ascending rise in the letters of the logo were to evoke the look of a mountainside.

The final label utilized much larger type, with a mirrored image pattern that would hide any seam on the label. This resulted in an engaging design that encouraged customers to further explore the packaging.
